Our third annual BIG RAFFLE was a big success! All 1,000 tickets were sold in advance, and more than 275 people were in attendance at the reverse drawing on October 24 at the Currier Museum of Art. This is our largest fundraiser for the NHADA Foundation, and proceeds go toward scholarships and other educa- tion, training and workforce development programs. The BIG $25,000 winner was Don Steere of Volvo Cars Exeter. Don will be spending his winnings at an NHADA member or partner company. The student with the last ticket on the board, Caleb Douglas of Plymouth High School, was awarded a $1,000 scholarship to a NH state or community college. The complete list of raffle prize winners is posted at nhada.com/raffle/winners. Another big feature of the evening was the Silent Auction, which featured 54 items and netted over $10,000. All silent auction winners have been notified and items are being delivered. Thank you to sponsors Northeast Delta Dental and Auto/ Mate Dealership Systems, and to all the silent auction and raffle donors who went above-and-beyond to make this event profitable. Save the date for next year’s event on November 10, 2019, at the Bank of NH Stage in Concord! Thank 20 for 20 purchasers. N E W H A M P S H I R E 21
