SU MMARY 08. 2019 LEGISLATIVE SESSION: THAT’S A WRAP, WELL … ALMOST. As we neared the end date of the 2019 Legislative session there was only one little loose end to tie up, the $13 billion 2020/2021 state budget. What was expected to happen as the days ticked down did happen. The Governor vetoed it. The Democrats tried to make the budget more pala- table to the Governor by removing hot-button issues such as mandatory paid family medical leave insurance and a 5 percent capital gains tax. 10. NHADA COMMUNICATIONS OFFICE EXTENDS SERVICES OFFERED, ADDS DRONE Our membership has a new opportu- nity to enhance their digital presence through the NHADA creative team, which is now equipped with a DJI Mavic 2 Pro Drone. The drone will be used internally to better cover our annual events and produce more engaging content for our online plat- forms. If you are a member, this is something we can put to work for you and your motor vehicle business. 11. NEWMEMBERS 12. JEAN-GUY'S USED CARS AND PARTS, INC. CELEBRATES 50 YEARS For Jean-Guy, a love for auto mechanics was apparent at a very young age. As a teenager he had two neighborhood friends whose father owned a junk yard. He and his friends would get "recycled cars" up-and- running and take them for a drive. 05. My goals and objectives are the same as any other chairman: to help keep NHADA successful. 07. 2019 NHAEF WELCOMES NEW LEADERSHIP This past June, the New Hampshire Automotive Education Foundation Board of Directors welcomed its newest members and thanked those who had served with distinction.
