HowWould You Spend YourWinnings? T he winners of the 2018 Big Raffle, Jennifer Pooler and Eric Pothier of Henry’s Collision Center, were cre- ative in their use of their $25,000 prize. Eric used his $12,500 to purchase a Triton Trailer from NHADA member Souhegan Valley Motorsports, and Jennifer used the other $12,500 to purchase a CD from NHADA partner Bellwether Commu- nity Credit Union. Tickets are now on sale for the 2019 Big Raffle, and the $25,000 top prize may be spent at any NHADA mem- ber or partner company. With over 500 member companies, that’s a lot of choices of products or services! Maybe you’ve been eyeing a car, truck, motorcycle, RV, tractor, snow- mobile or other OHRV or powersport vehicle. Perhaps you want to use the money for your business to buy new equipment for your shop, advertising, or professional services in account- ing or the law. Or you could do as Jennifer did and buy a CD from one of NHADA’s banking partners. Winnings may also be used by stu- dents attending NH’s community colleges for auto tech and related programs. A num- ber of NHADA members are purchasing tickets for high school seniors going on to these programs. Each ticket includes two entries into the Big Raffle party on Thursday, October 24, at the Currier Museum of Art in Manchester. You do not have to be present to win, but it is a lot of fun! We will also be holding a silent auction, and the museum will have open-gallery viewing hours. Big Raffle Tickets are $100 each, and we are only selling 1,000 of them – so the odds are good.
