As we enter the summer, you may meet some new people at NHADA. Chris Trombley, a former intern, is now the Video Production Coordinator in the Communications office. Chris, a Keene State College graduate, covers all of the associa- tion’s events and is very talented behind the camera. He also works closely with NHADA’s Career Coor- dinator Jessica Dade, and together they are working to grow the automotive workforce. NHADA Communications recently launched a series of short inspirational videos that Chris worked on called “Tech Talks,” which shares some success stories from New Hampshire Technicians. Please visit nhada.com/videos to view some of them. We greatly appreciate his willingness to try new ideas. Katia Magalnick is the newest receptionist at the front desk. Katia is a student at NHTI, and she is working towards a degree in Paralegal Studies. She’s been a tremendous asset to the team over the last few months because of her strong work ethic, and when she isn’t answering the phones and greeting visitors, she’s often helping to prepare our next mailing. Courtney Elwell was welcomed by the Prod- ucts Division in March. Though she works in the Products Division, Courtney is very versatile — in fact, she wears many hats here. She prepares forms, frequently works in the finance office on a handful of bookkeeping projects and, when needed, answers phones at the reception desk. Courtney actually began working for NHADA late last year as a temp worker. She did such a nice job that we hired her when this new position was created. Shannon Riley , a student at the University of New Hampshire, has joined the Commu- nications office this summer for an intern- ship. Shannon is obtaining her Bachelor of Arts in Communication with minors in Psychology and Graphic Design. She expects to gradu- ate in 2021. At NHADA, she’ll be working closely with the Creative Director, Chandler Ives, helping keep both digital and print media up-to-date with relevant content. Addi- tionally, a great deal of her work will be shown on the blog as she writes weekly articles on topics that are relevant to New Hampshire’s motor-vehicle industry. Shannon will also work closely with the NHAEF (New Hampshire Automotive Education Foundation), attending video shoots, conduct- ing interviews and helping cover events. Because of her minor in Graphic Design, Shannon has been trained in effective use of layout and color. Her skills will be a tremendous asset in our print publication, Drive: NH. Additionally, her interest in social media will help us continue to grow on Facebook. NHADA extends a warm welcome.
