The Workforce Development team has remained actively engaged across the state, promoting career and technical education opportunities, and supporting students at every stage of their educational journey. Team members attended numerous high school career fairs to connect with students and share information about career pathways in the transportation industry. They also traveled throughout the state to deliver SkillsUSA prizes to outstanding automotive students, recognizing their achievements and dedication.
The team participated in scholarship award ceremonies at Seacoast School of Technology and Salem CTE Center, celebrating students as they prepared for their next steps, and attended the commencement ceremony at Concord Regional Technical Center to honor graduating students and award scholarships.
Additionally, the Workforce Development team brought the career trailer to several community outreach events, including a STEM Day at Hudson Memorial School and the George Dykstra Car Show. They also traveled to Lakes Region Community College, where they hosted a group of fourth and fifth grade students and introduced them to exciting career opportunities in the automotive and transportation fields.
